Credential Evaluation Reports

Document Evaluation Report

  1. Gives an equivalent for each Diploma, Certificate, or Transcript (Grade report, Examination record, Marks sheet) submitted for evaluation
  2. Presents dates of attendance and institution location
  3. Describes profile of the institution and programs (entrance criteria, status of the institution in this country, typical and real length of study)
  4. Recommends the U.S. equivalent of each level of study and credential earned

Used for:
Education, when Transferred credits and Courses taken are not relevant, Employment, Immigration.


Course-by-course Evaluation Report

  1. Gives an equivalent for each Diploma, Certificate, or Transcript (Grade report, Examination record, Marks sheet) submitted for evaluation
  2. Presents dates of attendance and institution location
  3. Describes profile of the institution and programs (entrance criteria, status of the institution in this country, typical and real length of study)
  4. Recommends the U.S. equivalent of each level of study and credential earned
  5. Provides a list of courses/ subjects studied, major/ minor or area of concentration
  6. Converts instruction hours (lectures, laboratory, independent supervised course projects)
  7. Semester or Quarter Units of Credit for all post-secondary level courses
  8. Converts grades into equivalent U.S. grades A, B, C, D, F for each course evaluated
  9. Calculates an overall Grade Point Average (G.P.A.)
  10. Identifies courses level as Associate Degree level, Lower or Upper division Undergraduate courses, Graduate level courses, Professional level courses for each Post-secondary course evaluated

Used for:
Continuation of Education, including High School admission, College or University admission, Employment, Immigration.


Education and Work Experience Report

This report provides a Document report for the years of education and verified work experience. Education and Work Experience or Work only evaluations follow the Immigration rules to use work experience to add to incomplete university work, or replace university work, or add to a bachelors degree to result in a higher degree.

Recommended for purposes when a combination of education, professional training, and work experience is needed to establish degree equivalency. May be utilized to establish bachelor's and master's equivalence, and may also be utilized for National Interest Waivers and to establish a position as a Specialty occupation

Used for:
Employment, Immigration, and in special cases for Continuation of Education.
